One worksheet, and it answers the two questions a safety director gets asked and rarely has a number for: what does the daily check round cost us a year, and how many defects are sitting open with no repair recorded against them. You put in the vehicles, the shifts, the minutes a pre-trip and a post-trip take, the share of checks that raise something, and how long it takes to find a report when somebody asks. It gives you the hours, the cost, the defects a week and the size of the open pile. Nothing is stored and there is no account.

Every figure this worksheet prints is arithmetic on the vehicles you enter, and on nothing else: nothing is imported and nothing is assumed about your fleet. Where a page states a rule rather than a calculation, the regulation behind it is cited under the tool it appears in, with a link to the section rather than to a home page.
